WHAT TO EXPECT

INITIAL PHONE CONSULTATION

Contact me via email or phone to set up a free initial 15- to 20-minute phone consultation. This first contact enables us to exchange basic information and briefly discuss your reasons for wanting counseling. Initial phone consultation appointments are subject to caseload availability.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATES

Following the free initial phone consultation and prior to your first paid scheduled intake session, you may request a good faith estimate for the total out-of-pocket cost of your psychotherapy treatment in a 12-month period if you are planning to self-pay for counseling services (e.g., you do not plan to submit claims for reimbursement from any health care plan).

INTAKE SESSION

Following the free initial phone consultation appointment, we can set up your first paid 60–90 minute intake session and regular weekly 45–50 minute therapy sessions for individuals; or regular weekly 50-60 minutes therapy sessions for couples after that.

TELEHEALTH

As of March 2020, therapy sessions are offered primarily through telehealth mode (remote virtual sessions) using secure videochat technology or by phone.
